On DevNation's opening day, Red Hat will present a technical session: “A quick guide to .NET development on Red Hat Enterprise Linux”. This talk will be a gentle introduction to Microsoft's newest development toolkit, .NET Core.
.NET Core is a brand new open source framework for writing business applications. For the first time, developers can combine a highly productive Microsoft toolkit with the runtime advantages offered by RHEL. Microsoft and Red Hat are excited about this development, you will be too.
In this session, you'll learn about the major moving pieces and how .NET Core applications are built. We'll examine a few simple examples. You will leave this session with an excitement for .NET Core and everything you need to easily write your first application.
