OpenJS World Europe is almost upon us. This event brings together both the JavaScript and Web communities, which include not only Node.js, but other OpenJS Foundation projects such as Electron, webpack, and more. This year there is a second instance of OpenJS World in Europe which is part of Open Source Summit Europe. This offers a second opportunity for sharing and learning with a broader audience, something that we are looking forward to. We are proud that Red Hat is a sponsor of the Open Source Summit supporting this collaboration.

Collaborator Summit
OpenJS World would not be complete without a Node.js collaborator summit and I’m looking forward to those discussions. Our team members will be helping to lead three next-10 sessions on technical priorities, getting the news out and building long term collaborators and will be active participants for many of the other sessions. It’s a great opportunity to work on key issues with the other collaborators.
The Summit is on September 18th and is for contributors to Node.js and for any open source enthusiast who is interested in participating. This is the time for deep dives on important topics, and to meet with people working across your favorite JavaScript projects.
