Overview: Move managed clusters using ACM 2.12 backup component

The backup and restore hub component is available with Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes 2.12. This component provides disaster recovery support for the hub.

You can also use the backup and restore component for scenarios outside the disaster recovery support.

Prerequisites:

  • An understanding of how the backup and restore operation works. 
  • Knowledge of how to install a hub cluster.
  • The ability to enable the backup and restore component.
